Damage can result from a variety of occurrences, including windstorm, flood, fire,

What to do when damage occurs:
 | Make temporary repairs (such as with plastic or plywood) to protect your
property from further damage. Keep the receipts for these repairs, as they
will be turned in to the insurance company when you file your claim. |
| Move quickly to save special property such as books, manuscripts, laptop
computers or data, etc. |
| Call your public adjuster. We will advise you and arrange for the
contact with the insurance company, and we handle the processing of your
insurance claim. |
| Don't make extensive permanent repairs until you have seen the adjuster. |
| Make a list of damaged items and separate them if possible. |
| Do not dispose of items without advisement from your public adjuster and prior agreement from your insurance

different safe locations. You might keep one copy in a safety deposit box in
a bank and another with a friend or family member. This will ensure you
